I just can't own a prius. I like horsepower for one thing. More than that, I don't want some inattentive fool in a suburban, denali, navigator, etc.. to come rampaging towards me and not be able to get out of the way. I wish I could, I really do, and when the soccer moms stop driving land yachts, I'll be all over the hybrid. Until then...
Terra Pass, allows people (myself included) to offset their carbon production, by funding alternative energy research projects. I'm all over that. I think it's a great idea, and not really expensive, my car was $50/year. if that helps me offset the damage I cause, it's a steal at twice the price!
