I want a Macberry! (MWSF '07 Keynote Wrap up)

Keynote is over, DAMN

I wanted an iPhone that was more than an iPod with number pad... CHECK

I wanted an iPod with wide screen and a touch interface ... CHECK

but more than that. They rolled it all up into the freaking killer app MACBERRY (My term)

Here's some snippets from the MacRumors live feed.

It's a little hard to follow. reads from the bottom up. The Highlights are this.

  • touch screen
  • runs OS X (mobile?)
  • syncs like iPod
  • Handles Photos, music
  • Y! Mail free IMAP push (think crackberry mail)
  • Cingular only (yay me)
  • sensors to handle flipping between portrait and landscape automagically (SWEET)
  • Visual voicemail. No more First In Last Out. Listen to which ever you like in any order.
  • watch TV, Movies, music videos. Full screen (as many as you can fit on 4-8gb)
  • 4GB model
  • 8GB model
  • Quad Band, EDGE, Bluetooth, WiFi
  • "you can bring up keyboard if you want to call "last century""

Much more, but geez this thing is cool! This device will definitely be giving Crackberries and Windows Mobile "smart" phones a run for their money!
