It ain't hot here!
Twice since moving to CO, friends in CA have reported the crazy hot weather. Last year it was August calling from Corona and 114 at 7pm. This time it was John, IM'ing from Trabuca (that's fancy Orange County for those that don't know) to show me that it's 109.... one oh fuckin' nine!!!
Even our last "heat wave" earlier this year, when it was hotter than I'd like, it wasn't 109. It wasn't even close, maybe 100 at noon, in the middle of the asphalt jungle of Denver.
Sorry SoCal'ers you get no sympathy from me.. :) I tried to tell ya'll to come out this way, to more affordable housing, better climate, etc, etc, blah blah. Enjoy the heat :P

Hey just cuz we don't rotate the tires on our houses doesn't mean we're fancy. My 1975 Chryler air conditioner (yes they used to make residential AC) broke down in the middle of the heat wave and we survived. We have beaches, pools, lakes, and one store didn't sell out of fans....Wal Mart. Happy snow storms!

LOL we have all that too. none connected to an ocean but, that's fine with me, and 2 snow storms a year, I'll take it. the other 320 days of Sunny beautiful weather... I'll take that too :D
